The Institute for Unfathomable Happiness crest

That Friday feeling.
On demand.

You already know the exact feeling — 5:47pm, coat half on, the whole weekend still unopened. That's not a mood. It's a mechanism. We teach you to trigger it on a Tuesday, then teach you what to build with the other six days.

Founded by a clinical exercise physiologist, not a life coach who found enlightenment on a beach.

A NOTE FROM THE FOUNDER

Most happiness advice fails for a boring reason.

It isn't wrong. It's untimed.

Tell someone to "practice gratitude" and you've given them a true, useful, completely unmemorable instruction. It has no hook — nothing in their week to hang it on. So it gets nodded at and forgotten by Wednesday.

The Friday feeling already has the hook built in. Everybody has felt it. Nobody has been taught to use it on purpose.

I spent twenty-five years teaching bodies to recover — from surgery, from heart attacks, from the particular kind of exhaustion that follows both. Somewhere in year eleven or twelve I noticed the patients who recovered fastest weren't the most disciplined ones. They were the ones who'd found something to look forward to on a Tuesday.

That's the whole discovery, really. I've just spent the years since turning it into something you can actually use.

THE METHOD

Two different problems.
Most programmes solve neither properly.

Happiness splits into two engineering problems that don't share a solution. Conflating them is why most self-help advice evaporates by Thursday.

THE INSTANT PROBLEM

How you feel in the next six minutes

Mood is a state, and states move fast — breath, light, movement, a specific memory retrieved on purpose. We teach the six-minute reset first, because a person who can't feel better today won't trust anything you tell them about next year.

THE LASTING PROBLEM

How your life is actually built

Trait-level happiness is architecture, not mood — relationships, movement, purpose, rhythm. It takes months, not minutes, and no breathing exercise will substitute for it. This is the part with homework.

Every course, every session, every page of the book does both, in that order. Feel the shift today. Build the change for life.

WHAT EARLY MEMBERS SAY

Founding members, on the record.

"I signed up expecting another gratitude journal. What I got was a professional going through his actual case notes. Not fluffy — useful."
Early coaching client · London
"The six-minute reset is the only piece of wellness advice my husband has ever repeated back to me without eye-rolling."
Six-Week Reset participant
"He's the only person in this industry who's told me a piece of advice didn't apply to me. Bizarrely, that's what made me trust the parts that do."
